I’m 49… Am I Too Old for Chessington?

I'm 49… so am I too old for Chessington World of Adventures? This is my honest Chessington first visit — Mandrill Mayhem, Vampire, Dragon's Fury, and one question: is Chessington just for kids? Is Chessington World of Adventures actually for adults? Or do we sometimes put age limits on theme parks for absolutely no reason? This was day one of my mini UK theme park road trip: new car, no research, high expectations, and one very important question hanging over the whole day. From Vampire and Mandrill Mayhem to Dragon's Fury, themed lands, animal encounters, and all the unexpected little details in between, this ended up being more than just a first visit. It became a look at what we are supposedly allowed to enjoy as grown adults. Because apparently when you're a child, loving bright colours, theming, animals and silly fun is completely normal. But at 49? Suddenly people start acting like you should be at home discussing paint shades and pretending to understand olives. So was Chessington a lovely surprise? Did it win me over on my first visit? And am I actually too old for this park… or is that the wrong question entirely? This is my first ever trip to Chessington World of Adventures, with ride reactions, first impressions, a few unexpected thoughts, and the start of a three day UK park adventure. If you enjoy theme parks, roller coasters, first visits, and slightly overthought commentary, you're in the right place. 🔥 Subscribe and join the adventure:    / @planetwhit   🎥 Watch my Alton Towers opening day 2026 next:    • Is Alton Towers Still Worth Visiting in 2026?   🎵 Music: Andrew Applepie “Beach”    / @andrewapplepie   https://andrewapplepie.com 🎵 Additional music and sound effects: Epidemic Sound – https://www.epidemicsound.com 🎥 Stock Footage: Envato – https://app.envato.com/ #Chessington #MandrillMayhem #UKThemeParks #PlanetWhit
