The Waterwheel Gearbox Failed Catastrophically

The waterwheel has been in constant use now for a couple of years but over Christmas the gearbox failed. Two of the bearings failed catastrophically and destroyed the inside of the gearbox. The wheel was shut down until I could get over there to fit a new gearbox. So in this video we go and change the gearbox and examine the old one to find out why it failed. Enjoy the video.
