He walked toward the sounds of the calling and observed a hunter with a call in his hand. In the end, the suspect was charged with attempting to take wild turkey within 100 yards of a feeding station, armed trespassing, and hunting without a turkey stamp. Through a negotiated plea deal, he pled no contest to trespassing while armed and his adjudication was withheld. He was sentenced to 3 years of probation with the option of early termination. Approximately 3 months later, he met the terms of his probation, and the court terminated his probation. He was also ordered to pay $1,125.00 in costs and fines which currently show unpaid.
