The primary suspect, Timothy, was accused of guiding hunters without a proper license and illegally baiting his property for turkeys. After months of investigating, including three search warrants, officers executed their operational plan on his property. In the end, Timothy was charged with three counts of felony possession of a firearm by a convicted felon for having a shotgun on three separate occasions. He also received eight counts of violating guide restrictions, for guiding paid hunters without a license and facilitating illegal hunting activity. On top of that, he was charged with seven misdemeanor counts of illegal take or pursuit of deer or wild turkey, tied to hunting over a baited field and guiding others in doing the same. He also received violations for hunting or trapping without a license and trapping violations for trapping raccoon out of season. Through a negotiated plea deal, Timothy was sentenced on 16 charges. He received a 12-month jail sentence, which was suspended on the condition that he pay $44,000 in restitution to the state by January 2, 2025. He was also ordered to pay approximately $1,300 in fines plus court costs, and had his hunting privileges suspended for a total of 6 years. As a result of the investigation, five hunters were cited for various charges that included hunting without licenses and permits, hunting with unplugged shotguns, and illegal take or pursuit of turkey. Colby was also arrested and charged after fleeing into a wood line to hide an unplugged shotgun, electronic turkey calls, and illegal drugs. During the investigation, officers seized multiple shotguns, electronic turkey calls, trail cameras, and more. If you like this video and want to see more like it, Subscribe to Arrest Cam.
