Today is one of the most emotional episodes I’ve ever shared. After weeks of preparation, rescue day has finally arrived. Join me as I bring two beautiful girls, a rescue pony and donkey, to their forever home at Domaine des Hortes. The day doesn’t go as planned. Machinery breaks down, the summer heat pushes us to our limits, and there’s still so much to prepare before they arrive. Thanks to the incredible help of my dad, Dean, Sebastien, Dieter, and hos wife, we managed to create a safe and welcoming space just in time. As I shared in my last episode, their elderly owner made the heartbreaking decision to let them go after the sudden passing of her husband, who had always cared for them. When I first met these two lifelong companions, I knew I had to help. They deserve love, medical care, and the chance to recover.
