I'm Deh Werneck, a former MasterChef contestant, and today I'm going to show you my experience at Restaurante Leila, which is located inside Tânia Bulhões' store in São Paulo. This restaurant combines French and Minas Gerais cuisine, creating sophisticated dishes full of flavor. I went with my friend Camila, who loves gastronomic experiences, to see if the food really lives up to the reputation of this chic place. We started by trying *the roast beef croquette*, which was surprisingly crispy and had a delicate flavor. We also tried the *foie gras terrine*, served with brioche and homemade jams – a sophisticated and delicious touch. For the main courses, I ordered the *short ribs with black bean purée, crispy kale and farofa*, a very Brazilian dish, while Camila opted for the *seafood rice stew*. The short ribs were extremely tender, falling apart on the fork, but I felt it needed a little salt. The rice stew brought out the flavor of the sea well, but it was more like a risotto than a traditional broth. We finished the experience with two incredible desserts: the *guava creme brûlée*, which stood out for its balanced flavor between sweet and caramelized, and the *floating island*, a French dessert with crème anglaise and salted caramel. Of the two, the creme brûlée was my favorite! The ambiance at Leila Restaurant is impeccable, full of elegant details and top-notch service.
