30 Miles in 48HRS | Wild Canoe Camping from Sudbury to the Sea

#bushcraft #sudbury #canoecamping The River Stour boasts an impressive 46 miles in length, bordering the county of Suffolk to the north and Essex to the south and is located in East Anglia , England. it therefore seems fitting that this trip was organised by and of course will be featuring a great friend and Bushcrafter, ‪@EastAnglianBushcraft‬ & also his good friend & fellow military veteran, ‪@JakesJourneyMate‬ . When people talk of wild camping, often its vast expanses of wilderness that comes to mind, but often overlooked is the vast network of mainly untouched wilderness that our rivers have to offer. Starting & firstly meeting at sudbury to drop off our boats, the aim over the next 48 hours is to reach the Sea, a 26-30 Mile journey back to the vehicles that we then drove, dropped at the end point & then returned to the start point in craigs car. Having prepped our kit thoroughly the day before it was time to hit the river and start our adventure! I hope you enjoy!
