屯鶴峯〜ハイキングと舐めてたら、意外といろんな歴史を持ち急登もあり〜の、楽しい山^^
Tonzurumine... I was so engrossed in history that I even spent a lot of time on the opening video. 15 million years ago, the white tuff that rose from volcanic activity at Mt. Nijo was repeatedly weathered and eroded, creating a group of strangely shaped rock formations reminiscent of the "Grand Canyon of Nara." In the Middle Ages, its whiteness led to its use as a valuable material for sarcophagi. It became an object of worship as part of Katsuragi Shugen. In the early modern period, an underground bunker was dug as an air-raid shelter at the end of the Pacific War, but remains unused as ruins. In modern times, it has apparently been used as a filming location for movies... And what's more, it overlaps with the "Taishi Road" that Prince Shotoku traveled along? ...What a wealth of history! lol Tonzurumine has a hiking trail, and the shortcut route is apparently quite rewarding. However, the route we took also offers many great views, making it a fun experience. ✨ And... Exploring the underground bunker was the reason I'd long resisted the idea, saying, "Donzurubo? I don't think I'd like it..." It was dark, narrow (and low)... Nao-chan's headlamp was darker than we'd expected, so we both proceeded with just a flashlight. Because of the season, there were no insects or bats, so we were like, "Phew!" ♪ The phrase we kept saying was, "Wow, we dug this deep..." It seems that only the west bunker is accessible through this maze-like bunker.^^ *The east bunker is off-limits as it's under observation. I didn't even know how to write "donzurubo" in kanji. I only thought of it as the starting point of the Diamond Trail and a white rock like a hill... Well, it's a common occurrence ^^; Even small mountains have history ☆ It was fun researching it ✨ If I had properly researched the route, I could have taken a shortcut lol The walk on the paved road from Nijo-san Station was quite tiring, but the rest of the hike was a fun one ^^v [Music] DOVA syndrome Egg-loving musician BG Emmer Domorin
