BR Class 45 Locomotives in the Pre Digital Age Vol BR45 01

BRITISH RAILWAYS VINTAGE TRACTION BR Class 45 Locomotives in the Pre-Digital Age (1986-1987) Volume BR45-01 Another feature in this new series of Vintage Traction from the pre digital era, from the mid 1980's to the turn of the millenium, when the digital age started to put an end to analogue video... This feature is on the BR Type 4 Locomotive Class 45, built between 1960 and 1963 and virtually seen all over England, particularly the Midlands and the North and also seen on West Country Passenger services between Plymouth and Bristol. The Class were named after 'Peaks and Mountains' hence acquiring the term 'Peaks'.They worked all type of trains and were mainly deputised on the mainline out of London St.Pancras working to Sheffield and further North The class started to decline around the late 1980's, but fortunately I managed to capture quite a few on video before they disappeared for good, apart from the preserved examples, which is a separate story. This feature covers the period from around 1986 to 1987 filmed in glorious VHS format, a far cry from today's 4K and Stereo surround sound. I do hope you enjoy the feature and please comment and like, if you feel the video was of some enjoyment and nostalgia to watch. I will return to my present series BR in the 2010s as soon as possible, it could be sometime yet and as I am getting acquainted with the new editing suite, you may well come across some dodgy fades and transitions. Thank you all so much for your kind messages and of course for your patience, which is always appreciated.
