INFJs Dealing with Takers
🔴 REGISTER FOR THE FREE WORKSHOP Join Lauren for INFJ Sensitivity, a FREE live workshop on June 7: 👉 https://laurensapala.com/isws-26/ About This Video The INFJ personality type is a naturally giving type, meaning that we often take on the role of the giver in most relationships. Givers are known for having strong empathy, strong compassion, and for automatically offering help whenever help is needed. Because givers often take care of the needs of others at the expense of their own needs, they tend to attract takers. Takers are people who routinely look for opportunities to take what they need—whether that’s time, attention, or energy. This behavior can be completely conscious or subconscious. Takers are naturally drawn to givers because they can sense that an INFJ will continue to meet their needs over the long term. As natural givers, it is vital for INFJs to recognize when a taker enters their life and practice firm boundaries. While setting boundaries often triggers intense guilt or shame for an INFJ, it is a mandatory form of personal protection against severe energy drain and burnout. ⏱️ Chapters 00:00 - Intro 00:40 - Takers & Boundaries 03:00 - Givers Attract Takers 05:30 - Empathy Brings Guilt 08:16 - Go No Contact 10:45 - Free Workshop 11:29 - CTFOBS Ebook 11:46 - Thank You 📚 Free Resources & Community Get your FREE copy of Conquering the Fear of Being Seen by subscribing to the newsletter: 💌 https://laurensapala.com/newsletter/ #INFJ #INFJPersonality #INFJRelationships #SettingBoundaries #EmpathBurnout #INFJGiver #IntrovertProblems #LaurenSapala
