MAXIMO LAURA MAESTRO TEJEDOR
He is internationally recognized as one of South America's most prominent textile artists. He is a consultant, designer, and lecturer on contemporary Andean textile art and design. Maestro Laura was recognized as a "Living Human Treasure of the Nation" by the Peruvian government in 2010. For the past two years, he has exhibited his works at the Máximo Laura Museum, located on Carmen Alto Street in the traditional neighborhood of San Blas.
