ELLA KREBS: Textiles Paradigmáticos

The textile work developed by Peruvian abstract artist Ella Krebs is the subject of a retrospective exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Lima, Peru, entitled "Fiber Structures," which will be open until October of this year. Each of her works in this exhibition is rooted in pre-Columbian textile traditions, but its codes have been reinterpreted by the artist to transform space through color, form, and fibers before an audience interested yet disconnected from its past. "Fiber Structures" breaks paradigms, as explained by art critic Juan Carlos Flores Zúñiga, who visited the exhibition last July, in this new episode of the Ars Kriterion VLOG No. 08-18, produced for the online platform ARS KRITERION of the Circle of Art Critics of Costa Rica.
