As South Korea enters a super-aged society, generational animosity is emerging as an issue that increasingly threatens our community. With the aim of seeking empathy between generations, the TNC Foundation has organized a conference titled "No-Senior Zone [老see:near zone] – Us Who Have Come to Hate Our Future." By leveraging the phonetic similarity to the neologism "No-Senior Zone"—used in some stores to mean "no entry for the elderly"—we have combined the Chinese character "老" (No), meaning the elderly, with "see near," signifying looking around nearby areas. The conference seeks to remind us that life in old age is not a distant future, but something that is approaching all of us.
