This time, we'll be touring the flea market in Ghent, the ancient city of Belgium! This flea market is held only on Fridays and Saturdays at St. James's Church. We'll be sure to find lots of bargains and treasures! : : My mother, Yuko, loves plates, and her dream is to open an antique brocante and general goods store in a cafe. And now, finally! On January 31st, we opened our online shop! The name is "ciaoisao brocante." Brocante means flea market in French. It's ciaoisao's online flea market! It took a while, but I worked hard to create my own website! lol My curiosity never ceases, and I want to continue traveling, so I would like to introduce items beloved in each region. It's the central city of East Flanders and home to Ghent University. Despite its size, it's surprisingly little known. Even in this city, beautifully decorated with historic buildings and canals, a weekly flea market is held. The market is located around St. Jacob's Church (St. Jacobskerk), northeast of the city center. Perhaps because it's an ancient city, there were many old and rare items on display.
