Rippin' P5 Woods Trails At Sunken Meadow State Park
Sunken Meadow State Park is usually ridden for fat biking on the beach, but just south of the shoreline is P5 Woods which is next to the Field 5 parking lot. P5 Woods is a small section of trails that has a 200+ foot climb in it. This means there are some of the most extended downhill segments on Long Island in here. I would say this is the closest place to "enduro" type riding on Long Island since you actually climb for a little while. P5 Woods is a super fun mountain biking spot for some solid downhills for those who live in Suffolk county. Then you can drive over to Meadowlark park to get some tight flow and jumps.
