Aspect Ratio for Chainmail

This video covers Aspect Ratios (AR) for use in chainmail (chainmaille) work. It is intended as a supplement for the book Chainmail Bottle Carriers: a fashion statement you can make, and for other art/jewelry projects. The video illustrates how AR affects mail work, as well as how to use and calculate aspect ratios. The information in this video (and the others in this collection) are intended to supplement and support the creativity of the viewer. This video is the first in the series to be devoted to how a mathematical concept, the ratio, impacts and interacts with art and the real world. The video helps the viewer understand how to think about and work with chainmail rings.
