Arab Israel Part 7: Yom Kippur War 1973 (Urdu)

The fourth and last war between the Arabs and Israelis was fought in 1973. The Arab armies performed better and won back many of the territories that had been occupied by Israel in 1967. Israel exchanged this territory for a promise of peace with its neighbours. Thereafter, the Nasserite Arab socialist movement made peace also with the West and so the Yom Kippur or October War marked the end of the era of radical Arab socialism.
