Using Spurs With a Lazy Horse - Q&A
Professional Clinician Jeff Davis answers: I have a 3-year-old gelding that is the nicest horse in the barn. He rides like a seasoned 10-year-old. He was broke using spurs, but I am not wanting to wear them in case he turns into always needing spurs in order to respond. However, he is on the lazy side, especially when I’m trying to teach sidepassing. Any advice?
