ZERO DEFECTS, ZERO HARM GUYANESE TEAM DELIVERS FABRICATION WORK FOR OIL VESSEL

A team of trained Guyanese delivered high-pressure piping fabrication for the Liza Unity FPSO, which is one of the four vessels involved in oil production in the giant Stabroek Block offshore. This Water Injection Riser Depressurization project was lauded by many who attended the Friedlander Piping Fabrication Ceremony at the Guyana Shore Base Inc. (GYSBI) Annex. The work was done by Friedlander Guyana, in partnership with SBM Offshore and ExxonMobil Guyana. The technical scope of the WIRD project entails the precise fabrication of pipe sections for the water-injection systems used on SBM Offshore Guyana’s Floating Production, Storage, and Offloading (FPSO) vessels.
