71000 Duke Of Gloucester Battles Storm Bram on its way to Bath, 09/12/2025

71000 Duke Of Gloucester would be seen working another trip to Bath, however this time the tour would start from London Victoria. The tour would then travel through Clapham Junction and Barnes before arriving into the first pickup location of Staines. Following this 71000 would be seen at Egham accelerating away from Staines and heading for the Water stop at Chertsey. After being topped up at Chertsey the tour would then continue through Byfleet and New Haw before arriving at the next Pickup point at Woking. Next 71000 would be seen taking the Portsmouth Direct Line branching off at Woking Junction and heading through Worplesdon before arriving at Guildford the next pickup location. After waiting for the next Portsmouth service to go ahead the tour would then continue through Godalming before being captured climbing Witley Bank, Here 71000 is seen struggling on her feet at the top of Witley Bank. After another pickup at Haslemere 71000 would then continue down to Havant before heading down through Cosham and Fareham before arriving at the next Water Stop of Hedge End. After 71000 would continue through Eastleigh and down the single line through Chandlers Ford before arriving at Romsey. Next 71000 would pass through Mottisfont and Dunbridge before arriving at Salisbury. 71000 was due to wait for 5 minutes here however as 71000 was late she skipped the stop and headed straight through. 71000 would then take the line towards Warminster through the Wylye Valley. Here 71000 is captured in Blustery conditions heading for Westbury. The tour would then continue to Bath Spa the destination of the tour. Later on in the day 71000 would retrace this route however a loco change will take place at Salisbury where 71000 will head off to Southall and a diesel would take the tour back to London via the Same route.
