She recounts her meeting and falling in love with Saddam Al-Saud, a Saudi prince. He is charming and wins her trust. Candice explains that he wants a child, but asks her to have an abortion while she is pregnant. She then describes how Saddam made her have an abortion in her sleep. Pregnant with a second child, Saddam wants her to keep it this time. It's a little girl. Later, he tells Candice that his family wants him to marry a cousin, a royal princess. She mentions numerous acts of violence at the hands of Saddam: he rapes and beats her. She manages to return to France. He finally convinces her to return to Riad, but there she is locked up and separated from her daughter.
