Methods Used To Remove Japanese Knotweed (Fallopia Japonica)

At the end of the clip he explains a quick and simple method that can be tried by members of the public that wish to remove Japanese Knotweed from their land. (Attempted at their own risk) Although rather attractive, Japanese knotweed (Fallopia japonica) is a real thug as it spreads rapidly. In winter the plant dies back beneath ground but by early summer the bamboo-like stems shoot to over 2.1m (7ft), suppressing all other growth.
