#SNTF Scenic University Train Trip to Sidi Amar رحلة بالقطار الجامعي إلى سيدي عمار

Filmed on 14 October 2021 Locomotive: GE U18C #060DJ02 Distance:12 kilometres Departure of train N° #811 from Annaba railway station at 3:12pm Arrival at Sidi Amar university railway station at 3:45pm Departure of train N° #812 from Sidi Amar at 4:13pm Arrival at Annaba railway station at 4:46pm What I enjoyed most about this trip is the beautiful clear autumn afternoon weather, the surrounding scenery, and the view of the Saint Augustine Church dedicated on 14 April 1914 to Saint Augustine of Hippo (Annaba during the Roman empire). You can also take a glimpse at Badji Mokhtar University of Annaba located in Sidi Amar right between the first two stations of the return trip. What I didn't like at all is the piles of trash accumulated everywhere around the railway and the beautiful station of Sidi Amar built in 1988.
