TEDxEroilor - Silvia Sirb - De la "Nu prea cred ca pot" la "Stiu ca pot"

Silvia Sirb, currently the CEO of AEGON Romania, has an education in economy, and has developed her professional experience over 18th years in finance. After 9 years in the banking sector, opening ING Bank Branch in Cluj, which she managed and developed for 9 years, she decided to move further to a highier challenge. Thus, she starts with AEGON 4 years ago, as a country responsible for settling from scratch and developing the group business lines here. Today, AEGON has a consistent and growing business in Mandatory Private Pension system known as Pillar II and in Life Insurance. Silvia believes that one has to have the right attitude, curiosity and passion in everything is doing. TEDx is a program of local, self-organised events which bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organised events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organised TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, like TEDxEroilor are self-organised. (Subject to certain rules and regulations.)
