Daniel David is a Professor, Ph.D., of clinical cognitive sciences at the Babeş-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, Romania. He is also an adjunct professor at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New-York, USA. Dr. David is a clinical psychologist and cognitive-behavioral therapist, his research activities being focused on the impact of rational and irrational beliefs in health and on the unconscious information processing. TEDx is a program of local, self-organised events which bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organised events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organised TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, like TEDxEroilor are self-organised. (Subject to certain rules and regulations.)
