Is Cates’ Thor Series Good?
When Donny Cates was announced as the new Thor writer, I was excited since he was my number one choice for the series. He achieved stardom with his great Venom run and has long exhibited a fondness for Thor. When he was announced, I called him “perfect” for the series. Now that we’re twenty eight issues in, it’s time to put that theory to the test. Did Cates meet my expectations? Did he struggle to lift the hammer? Is his his run worthy? I give my thoughts, praises, and critiques.
