But I sat down with 5 HUGE Spider-man fans to discuss what the best Spider-Man comics/stories are! However I wouldn’t just call these ppl fans as their experience with reading the character, and their love for Spider-Man is so big, that I would actually call them experts! We’ve got big names in this video so I’m excited, because we discuss BANGER Spidey stories like: Spider-Man: If this be my destiny! The issues of Amazing Spider-Man 31-33 where we see Spider-man battle doctor octopus, over a serum that could save Aunt Mays life! This is the early days with Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. We’ll explore their behind the scenes work relationship and deep dive what made this such an iconic storyline from 1966! Spider-Man by Roger Stern: The 80s era of Spider-Man is one of the best and a huge reason is because of Roger Sterns spider-man! Introduce iconic characters like the Hobgoblin, this felt just like the classic days all while pushing the character forward again. Spider-Man Kraven’s Last Hunt: The 80s what a great start for Spider-Man comics and it also was a good end point! Because in 1987 Kravens last hunt would deliver the darkest spider-man story of all time and it was absolute banger! Showing Kraven the Hunter defeat* spider-man, it has some of the biggest stakes for any spider-man comic! Ultimate Spider-Man: The 2000s would be a very special time for spider-man fans. JMS’s mainline ‘Amazing Spider-Man’ was an absolute hit, the Sam Raimi Spider-Man trilogy, and all the Spider-Man video games, made it feel like it was the PERFECT time to be a Spider-Man fan! Ultimate Spider-Man by Brian Michael Bendis and Mark Bagley would be the cherry on top as we’d see a remix on the classic Spidey stories with a more contemporary approach to the character of Spider-Man!
