After finally building out our dream overland setup, it was finally time to head north and see what it was really built for. With five days to explore and no fixed destination, we loaded up the Toyota Hilux and set off in search of the perfect beach camp on Canada’s rainy West Coast. From driving onto a remote beach, relaxing camp setup ASMR, cooking by the ocean, and waking up to heavy rainforest rain, this adventure turned into everything we love about overlanding on Vancouver Island. As the trip continued, we ventured deeper into the backroads, explored hidden lakes, and stumbled across an incredible coastal cabin tucked away on the edge of the Pacific Ocean.
