Sippin Tequila Cocktails on Mexico's Biggest Lake 🇲🇽

Welcome to Lake Chapala, Mexico's biggest lake! An area of México home to a ridiculously large amount of expats from the USA & Canada, luckily this video isn't gonna be about that. We're here to see the everyday Lake Chapala away from Ajijic and the ignorant gringo colonies. We spent the morning exploring Jocotepec which is probably one of the nicest towns in Mexico. We'd heard of a famous tequila cocktail that was created in an even smaller town by Lake Chapala so off we headed to try one! We took a shared taxi to San Luis Soyatlan and got ourselves a giant litre cocktail to enjoy by the lake. Our Lake Chapala trip ended with some incredible tequila nieves in the square. When in Jalisco tequila is king! Once back in Guadalajara we had some fish tacos in the bus station which turned into a right ordeal, the lady sat next to us was an absolute character. We then got chatting to the owner of the shop and had some rompope to round off the day!
