Philmont 2025 - Our Scouting Journey

Philmont 2025 Video Documentary: This video features Scouting America troop 24 from Charlotte, NC in our July 2025 Philmont trek. I was a youth member of this troop from 2017-2023, and I am currently an adult assistant. This video documentary is not intended to be a good film, as I am certainly not a filmmaker. I intend for this video to showcase our troops' experience to our friends and families, and whoever else is interested in the story. As I mention in the Introduction, taking camera shots throughout the week was challenging, so forgive me for the plethora of shaky frames & blurry images. This video features youth participants, proper video and audio release waivers with our troop were completed. Philmont 2025 staff are also featured. Thanks to our ranger, Will. This video utilizes the AI tools available on Wondershare Filmora; this includes speech to text, image colorization, music generation, and video processing. All footage in this video is genuine, and was taken by me on an Akaso Brave 7LE. This video features the song “Never Leave Cypher’s Alive,” by Charlie’s Revenge (which I found on spotify). This is a Philmont opening campfire song about the search for gold and riches in the mine, and the death that follows. I had this song stuck in my head the whole week, and I wanted to make it the outro to this video. I am not licensed to use this song, however the fair use clause allows this. Also, this video (and channel) is currently not monetized anyway. All other music is licensed through Wondershare Filmora.
