HUGE/GEEP RESCUE! CN GP40-2LW 9411 Leads CN L594 East At Bloomfield!

This video was shot back on March 10th, 2026 of a rare move on the CN Sussex sub, with two GP oldies leading a long manifest train, Eastbound towards Gordon Yard in Moncton NB! This train originally stalled the previous night on the big hill near mile 76 when CN 3393 died for unknown reasons. With no crews or power available until the following day, this was the result. Two GP40 units came to the rescue, but needed to back the train down the hill and try again to climb after they also stalled! Finally 3393 started working again as well which helped them claim the grade with a little bit of ease compared to the previous 2 attempts. CN 3128 also ran out of fuel around this location, the good thing is there weren’t many stiff grades left. But it might be safe to say this train barely made it to Moncton haha. CN L594 Eastbound has CN 9411 leading 4782 trailing along with CN 3128 and 3393 hauling 172 cars of potash empties, lots of containers, boxes, tanks, and a friendly crew! Thanks For Watching!
