Two firefighters sustain injuries in Overstrand fires
Two firefighters sustained injuries in the multiple fires that burnt through the Overstrand municipality this weekend. Additional blazes flared up again in Hermanus and Gansbaai over the past 24 hours due to strong winds. In Betty's Bay, the fire has been contained but not considered to be put out completely. 41 Houses were gutted and another 28 damaged in the small town.
