The Worst Quest 3 Lens Damage I've Ever Seen

These lenses were scratched over and over again with deep, deliberate marks. This is by far the worst lens damage I've ever seen on a Quest 3. In this video, I try to save these lenses using my full refurbishment process, wet sanding through multiple grits and finishing with Polywatch and a rotary buffer. But with damage this severe, there's a real question of whether the lenses can come back or if we'll have to pull replacements from a donor unit. You can't just buy Quest 3 pancake lenses. The manufacturers have exclusive contracts with Meta, so when a lens is truly gone, the only option is to take one from another headset.
