Stanhope and Greenfoot Quarry, Weardale. October 2020
Filmed from a safe distance outside the quarry, this video shows the beauty of this disused works. One of only two whinstone quarries in Weardale (the other being Copt Hill). Greenfoot worked the Little Whin Sill and Three Yard Limestone alongside the river Wear upstream of Stanhope.
