Malunggay Pandesal by Mai Goodness | Moringa Buns | Pinoy Healthy Bread
A Filipino bread with the healthy Malunggay Leaves (Moringa) on it. Nothing beats freshly bake and healthy bread for breakfast or merienda partnered with coffee or tea. Try this at home as it includes simple and complete instructions for first time bakers. Enjoy! Soft Malunggay Pandesal(Moringa Pandesal) • 1 cup evaporated milk or fresh milk or 1/3 cup powdered milk diluted in 1 cup water, warm about 110⁰F (microwave for 30 seconds) • 2 1/4 tsp instant dry yeast • 1/2 cup light brown or white sugar • 1/2 cup vegetable oil or canola or corn oil • 1 tbsp vanilla extract • 1 to 2 cups Malunggay leaves (moringa leaves) chopped into small pcs • 3 cups bread flour or all purpose flour • 1 tsp iodized salt • 1/4 cup fine bread crumbs *Preheat oven for 15 minutes at 180⁰C. Bake for 20 minutes, halfway through the baking at 10 minutes turn the baking pan around for even cooking. Serve immediately. *Double the measurements if you want to make more.
