InternalBrace™ Spring Ligament Augmentation Repair

Anand Vora, MD, (Chicago, IL) presents the technique for InternalBrace Ligament Augmentation repair utilized for Spring Ligament. The implant system was developed to confidently and reproducibly repair the spring ligament and reduce postoperative lengthening of the repaired native ligament. This repair is shown in conjunction with an FDL tendon transfer. The animation highlights the steps necessary for insertion and fixation of 3.5 mm BioComposite™ SwiveLock®, FiberTape® and 4.75 mm BioComposite SwiveLock to augment repair of the superior and inferior band of the Spring Ligament complex.
