It Acts Like a Filter: Reasons for Using "Sabara" (Plinia jaboticaba) as a Rootstock for Grafting
In my opinion, P. jaboticaba var. "Sabara" can act almost like a filter for hard to grow varieties, that would normally succumb to chlorosis, burnt leaf tips, or lack of vigor/gradual decline, due to adverse growing conditions, including city water, high pH, minerals in irrigation water, flooding, drought, etc...
