A mill, a family… and six centuries of flour! On the banks of the Maine River, a mill valiantly resists the passage of time and defies modernity. At the Moulin de l’Écornerie, they don't just make flour: they grind centuries, mill memories, and sift through family stories. If its walls could talk, they would undoubtedly have a few anecdotes to tell about millers in clogs, capricious wheat, and recalcitrant belts. Today, it is Dany Bachelier, a former restaurateur who has changed careers, who carries on the tradition, under the watchful eye of his great-uncle Jean, a living encyclopedia of milling.
