RTP Madeira - Telejornal - Celebração do 25.º aniversário do IEM

The Madeira Employment Institute (IEM, IP-RAM) celebrated its 25th anniversary with a remarkable ceremony, whose central focus was the recognition and appreciation of its greatest asset: its people. This journey initially began in 2001, under the name Regional Employment Institute, and now marks a quarter of a century of history directly linked to the development of the Region. However, the celebrations of this historic date have been extending and taking shape throughout the year, in a well-deserved recognition of this trajectory, and will continue to mark the coming months with various initiatives. The official ceremony was strongly marked by the tribute to 45 employees, in a moment of profound gratitude for the commitment, dedication and professionalism demonstrated throughout this entire trajectory of public service. More than marking a date, this year of celebrations has served to continuously highlight the daily work of the entire IEM team. Workers are the fundamental and decisive element in the success of employment policies in the Region, assuming the role of being largely responsible for actively promoting employability and ensuring personalized and humane support throughout the professional integration process for citizens who need the Institute's assistance. The event was attended by the Regional Secretary for Inclusion, Labor and Youth, Paula Margarido, and the President of the Board of Directors of IEM, Pedro Santos Gouveia. In an atmosphere of great sharing and joy, all those present sang "Happy Birthday" and cut the birthday cake. With its eyes on the future, IEM heads towards the coming years with the certainty that its true strength lies in the resilience of its workers, always in the service of the citizens of the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
