RED ROSE DUMPLINGS from beetroot juice with Turkey Leeks Filling | Aunty Mary Cooks. Rose dumplings (or gyoza, or momos) is a very popular Chinese cuisine and is found in all Chinese dim sum restaurants or eaten at home and during festivals. Beetroot juice adds a beautiful red colour to the dumpling skin. This red rose dumplings look so pretty and romantic. Would make a perfect meal for Valentine’s Day.Aunty Mary shows how to make this easy recipe rose dumplings at home. Ingredients Filling 400g ground turkey 1 small leeks, chopped finely 1 tsp ginger powder 1 Tbsp oil 1 tsp salt 2 tsp corn starch 2 tsp sesame oil Dough 2 C flour 1/2 tsp salt 1 tsp oil 1/4 C boiling water 1/2 C beetroot juice Note : Make another portion of the dough but with 1/2 C diluted beetroot juice from the pulp Dipping sauce 4 Tbsp balsamic vinegar 4 Tbsp sweet chilli sauce 4 Tbsp soya sauce 2 Tbsp sesame oil Note : There will be extra leftover dough.
