Old School Cafeteria Rolls

Do you remember these from school? Here's the recipe. 1 cup of warm water, 105-110 degrees 1 pack of yeast 1/2 tbs of salt 1/4 cup of sugar, use 1 tbs of the sugar to activate the yeast 3 1/4 cups all purpose flour 1/4 cup of melted shortening(Crisco) 1 egg Mix and let rise, punch down the dough and shape into rolls. let rise again and bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Brush with warm butter and serve.
