Bay of Fundy's Radical Tide Swings
Tides effect the entire globe. Meanwhile, in Canada's Nova Scotia the Bay of Fundy serves up tidal swings that draw tourists from around the globe. Four times a day tides expose the ocean's true power, shifting water up to 54 feet at tide change. Some of the largest tidal swings are seen here in Parrsboro, a small coastal town where boats come in on high tide and rest on the ocean floor during low tide. It's a phenomenon that impresses no matter how many times you see it. To follow my adventures on Instagram please visit: / shafdog33
