While it takes a little longer to simmer, the ingredients and steps are incredibly simple. Browning the chicken broth before simmering enhances its flavor. Make a basic bowl of plain rice porridge, freeze it in small portions, and then dilute it with your favorite soup or stock for a restaurant-quality flavor. This is a must-have dish for your daily diet. ■ Chicken Porridge with Exquisite Soup ・Porridge 200g rice (soaked for 30 minutes) 1.5 liters water 5 chicken wings 《Seasonings》 A pinch of salt 1 1/2 tablespoons light sesame oil 2 tablespoons sake 1. Bring water to a boil in a pot, then add the rice. Reduce heat to medium and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. 2. Place the chicken wings skin-side down in a frying pan, sprinkle with salt and fry. Once golden brown, add the light sesame oil, sake, and 500ml of water, cover and simmer for 20 minutes. 3. Once the wings are cooked until tender, remove them and remove the meat from the bones. Add the white porridge from step 1 to the soup and cook until cooked to your desired tenderness. 4. Return the shredded meat to the porridge, mix, and serve. Garnish with Chinese cabbage or other toppings to taste and you're done! You can also change the flavor by adding salt, pepper, or grated ginger.
