What is Stuff Da Bus? Supporting East Hawaiʻi Keiki for Back-to-School

What does it take to help a child start the school year feeling confident, prepared, and ready to learn? In this video, Neighborhood Place of Puna Executive Director Billi-Jo Pike shares the story behind Stuff Da Bus, our annual back-to-school community event that helps provide local students with backpacks, school supplies, and connections to valuable community resources. Stuff Da Bus is a community-wide effort and school supply drive that brings together businesses, nonprofits, volunteers, donors, and families to ensure East Hawaiʻi keiki have the tools they need to succeed in the classroom. This year, Neighborhood Place of Puna hopes to provide 700 backpacks filled with school supplies to students across East Hawaiʻi. Join Us at Stuff Da Bus 2026!
