The Shocking Truth Behind Seoul's Prestigious Art School Campus (K-ARTS)

One of Korea’s most prestigious art schools, K-Arts, moved its campus to Seokgwan-dong in Seongbuk-gu, but the buildings they moved into were once part of the Korean Central Intelligence Agency (KCIA). From dictatorship-era intelligence facilities to damaged royal tomb grounds and even a surprising connection to North Korea, this campus has a history unlike any other in Seoul. My German friend Anna, a K-Arts alumna, shows me around, while historian Jihoon helps uncover the darker side of this fascinating place.
