Two strong earthquakes, of magnitudes 7.2 and 7.5, struck Venezuela this Wednesday (24), causing scenes of panic in Caracas and coastal cities. According to the United States Geological Survey, it was the most intense tremor recorded in the country since 1900. Interim President Delcy Rodríguez declared a state of emergency and confirmed 32 deaths and at least 700 injured.
