Motorhome Trip to the TOWER OF PISA and Camping Village Torre Pendente (Italy)

Motorhome Trip to the Tower of Pisa and Camping Village Torre Pendente (Italy) We leave Florence in the Laika Kosmo and head down to Pisa to visit the Tower of Pisa. We arrived at Camping Village Torre Pendente with no booking and got a pitch for one night. The pitches were very close together, but the site was friendly and had good clean facilities. The bonus of this campsite is it is a 10 minute walk to the Tower. We got pitched up then headed off on foot to the Tower. It is enclosed within a walled area of grounds and it is free to enter the public area. There are some great street food vendors and ice creams, all very cheap and offering a great choice of cuisine. You can pay to walk up the tower and go into the Cathedral, which is within the grounds. We were very surprised at what a great day we had visiting the Tower, definitely one for your list.
