Upcycling – Fynn & Brian auf dem Schrottplatz | Kliemannsland

Upcycling! Fynn and Brian have a new hobby – they find old furniture and refurbish it to sell later. The furniture usually comes from workshops, scrap yards, or even from the federal government and then ends up in Kliemannsland and is refinished. A great example is a 300-year-old church step that Jesus himself walked on in his sandals. He certainly had time, since he was also unemployed. But most of the furniture is actually cabinets with compartments for things like carrots, shoes, and snorkels. Or even for an altar boy, if you cut it up first. After the two have chosen a cabinet to refurbish, the only question that remains is: Did you know that the floor is lava? Or did you know that a woodworm would actually increase the price? Assuming he gets €1.80 per hour for his work, works a 37.5-hour week, and works on a cabinet like that for 120 years (with his mouth!), that's easily a €12,300 premium. But never mind, first we're off to Philipp, the carpenter/Jennifer Lopez dancer. True to Fynn's motto "All for one, all for me," the guys work on poplar wood that looks like walnut (the northern German bamboo) and then off to Philipp's father Egon, because he has a lot of really cool shit on his farm. Not just ammunition boxes, but also ammunition—oh no, not ammunition, just wood. And a potato machine that fights back as best it can, but still loses in the end. The scrap man also has something nice for our brave little craftsmen, and in addition to furniture, it's also a glimpse into the future. A few weeks later, you'd think there should have been a lot of upcycling activity, but it was more like, "Bring some eBay ads and give it to him!" So there's a lot of new stuff and very little finished stuff. But if you want to see how Fynn and Brian work on it all, let me know and there will be part two :) Kliemannsland – This is Fynn Kliemann, his friends, and many helpers, who are doing awesome stuff on a farm in the north!
