TINY HOUSE REBUILD 🏠 We finally break ground in Portugal - EP133

After years of planning, paperwork, setbacks and preparation, the Tiny House rebuild finally begins! This week the architects arrive on site, and the digger gets to work as we officially break ground on our Portuguese farm renovation project. A huge amount is achieved in a single day. Loose rubble is cleared from the house footprint, an established olive tree is carefully lifted and replanted, a willow tree and oleander bush are removed, and the foundation holes are excavated under the guidance of the architects. The digger also helps us tackle a job that would have been impossible by hand – removing the heavy well mechanism, that has sat above the old well for decades. Meanwhile, work continues elsewhere on the farm, as we prepare the base for our swimming pool, hoping to have it commissioned before the summer temperatures really begin to climb.
