A Wild Week in the Highlands | Storms, Apple Butter & Real Life in Scotland

This week, I wanted to show a small slice of real life in the Scottish Highlands. When Storm Amy rolled through, we lost power and water for a few days — and spent a good while outside afterwards, clearing branches and picking up what the wind left behind. In this video, I share what happened during the storm, a little update on our 300-year-old home, and some quiet moments in the kitchen — proof that when life shakes the apples off the trees, you might as well make something sweet. Highland life is wild and beautiful in equal measure.
